My first tutorial: heat bags

This is my first tutorial so be sure to tell me where I stop making sense!

What I'm doing is making heat bags for the microwave. I made one large one for neck, back etc...and 2 mini ones for a nursing mom to put on her breasts before feeding if she has a blocked duct etc.M


First I took 2 scraps of material and sewed 3 of the nice sides together facing each other.


Then I turned it right side out and put about 3/4 cup of pearl barley into it.


I folded the open end in to itself and sewed alon that side to seal it.
